The Amsterdam Medical Photonics Institute aims to create a healthier future through innovative research, education, and collaboration.
Our goal is to collectively improve public health through photonics solutions that better prevent, diagnose, and treat disease.
Our photonics solutions are on the forefront of science and can impact public wellbeing through GPs, care facilities, hospital and at home.
Who we are
Our team joins an interdisciplinary group of researchers in the fields of biophotonics, medical imaging, biomedical engineering and physics from leading universities and research institutes in Amsterdam.
Together with clinicians and industry partners, our Centre of Excellence aims to advance the field of medical photonics and develop new light-based technologies that can improve medical diagnosis and treatments.
